How to Make Your Own Hair Clip

Today we are going to make a cute hair clip. First let’s take a look at the finished product. Very cute, isn’t it?


Then we will start preparing the materials. Here is a picture of what we need: two different colors of non woven fabric embroidery needle felt(Here we chose color lemonChiffon and coconutbrown ) , beads, scissors, hair clip, glue and nylon thread of two colors as well as pom balls. The prom ball is usually used at earring components with jewelry chains.


After all is prepared, we will start making the clip. The steps are as follows:
1. According to the size of your hair clip, cut two rectangular pieces with arc angles and two  ear pieces from the coconut color felt, and then cut one smaller piece from the another felt as the mouth.
2. Use glue to stick the two coconut felt together with two ears in the middle. And stick the mouth felt to the coconut felt.
3. Choose an oval black bead and two round ones as the eyes and nose, then sew them to the felt.
4. Use the thread to sew the edge of the nose and the face. Here it is recommended not to make a neat row of the stitches because this clip is of cute style. Sewing as the picture shows will add the interestingness.

5. After sewing, we cut part of the pom ball and glue the two pieces to the face of the bear. Now the bear looks as if being shy.
6. The last step is to glue the hair clip to the felt. Now we ‘ve got our own hair clip.
