Nail Art Decoration

In Tang Dynasty, Chinese people began to decorate their nails. One popular way is picking corrosive impatiens and mash up its flower with leaves and spread them to the nails. Keeping doing this for 3-5 times and the color on the nail wont fade in several months.

In both China and British, ladies from royal family keep the tradition of keeping long fingernails, which is regarded as a symbol of their status because keeping long nails implies that they dont need to work hard to make a living. In Qing Dynasty of ancient China, ladies of royal family will even wear metal artificial fingernails to make their nails look longer, which also symbolizes their distinguished status. We can often see these from ancient paintings.
In modern times, nail decoration is also favoured by many young girls and more and more decorations are explored. Nail polish alone can be divided into several types including bright nail polish, frosted nail polish, cat eye nail polish and so on. Different nail polish will make different effect.

Besides the nail polish, there are so many decorations that we cant even list all types because there are always new things appearing. The commonly used types are sequins, thin streamers, shells, gold foils, floating lockets and cabochon stones. One simple type of making a manicure is to brush the nail polish first and add the decorations to it before drying, so the decoration will be stuck to the nail by the nail polish. Also you can add some shell and small pieces of gold foil to it randomly, then you have finished your manicure. If you are worried that you may not succeed, you can also go to the nail salons and let the professionals help you. Besides proficiency, they have more necessary tools.
