Quilling Paper Flower Necklace with Pearl Beads Decoration

Today we are going to learn a new way of making jewelries. We are going to making a pendant necklace with paper. The name of this method is paper quilling.


The materials we need are colorful paper strips, glue, mould, pearl beads, pearl cabochon stones, jump rings, clasps, steel chains, pliers, eye pins as well as head pins. And we will start when all is ready.

Step one
Get a strip of paper and roll it. Use the mould to measure it and make the parameter of the roll meets your needs. When you get the size you want, get the roll out from the mould and loose a little but don’t leave it too loose. What we need is to prepare enough space for making the shape of a petal. When you have the shape, use the glue to stick the end of the paper to its side. Leave it alone and wait for the glue to dry. We need three flowers so we made 15 petals.

Step 2
Stick 5 petals together and make a flower after they are dry. Make another two flowers in the same way and add a pearl cabochon to the middle of each flower. Now make some small rolls and glue them to the flowers. Use a head pin to connect one pearl and a flower.

Step 3
In the end, use jump rings to connect the three flowers and use pins to connect the pearls. Add the chains and the clasps to the two ends. Connect them and the necklace has been finished.

We mainly used white and purple in this necklace because it will fit spring very well. And the necklace itself is a pretty handcraft. If you are familiar with the process, you can teach your friend to make hers.
