Rhombus Glass Pearl Necklace

Today we will make a special sweater necklace. While making, we will keep using links and pins to replace wires and threads. If you read the previous blog about making a pearl necklace with headpins, this blog will help you to practice.

As usual, we will introduce the materials we need first. AS you can see, we prepared brass chain, imitation pearls in round and drop shapes, glass bead strands of different colors, brass links, head pins, eye pins, spring clasps, jump rings and copper wire. And we wills till use scissors and pliers. Now we will get started.  

Step 1
Cut a length of copper wire and fix one end on a brass link. Thread it through a white glass bead and then wind the wire around the brass link fro several rounds. Repeat the same process and cover the link with white and blue beads. Here we made 5 of them.

Step 2
Thread a head pin through a drop pearl and connect it to an angle of the rhombus link. Use a eye pin and thread it through a round pearl, and make a ring at the other end. Make three of these and use three small jump ring to connect them together. Find another jump ring and connect it to the other angle of the rhombus.

Step 3
Find the other two blue link and connect them to the other two directions of the pearl link. Use pearls and eye pins to connect the rest of two white links to the blue ones. Add another pearl link respectively to the two ends. Add the chains, jump rings as well as clasp. Now we have finished making this necklace.

As the spring is coming, this necklace will fit well with a sweater. Join us now and make yourself one.
