Vintage Flower Pendant Necklace with Pearls

Today’s tutorial is on making a vintage style pendant necklace. Nowadays, vintage has become a fashion trend. If you want to make vintage style jewelry by yourself, you can follow today's tutorial.



The pendant we chose here is also in a vintage style, you can see the both the paint and shape are not in modern style. As you may noticed, it is actually made with pendant findings and cabochon stones, so you can also choose the style you like and make a personal necklace. As for other materials, we chose pearl beads of two sizes, glass seed beads, jump rings, clasps, wire protector and transparent nylon wire. And we also prepared scissors and pliers as tools. Then we will start making.


Firstly, connect an wire protector with a clasp and connect a wire to the wire protector. Now we’ve get two ends of the wire. Secondly, combine the two ends and thread them through about 12 larger white pearl. Thirdly, separate the two ends. Thread one wire through 4 larger white pearls and thread the other wire through the two seed beads with one larger pearl in between. Fourthly, combine the two wires and thread them together through one larger pearl. Repeat the  process above and add another 12 larger pearls at the other end of the necklace. Then add a jump ring to the other end of it. Finally, find the midpoint of the necklace and use a jump ring to fix the pendant to the necklace.
