Tutorial on making Tibetan umbrella pendant earrings

Have you ever thought about making an earring with the same shape as an umbrella? This shape is unique and the appearance is exquisite. If it is made of umbrella earrings, it might be very popular. I think the inspiration for designing this earring maybe come from rainy days and this earring is a prefect match for rainy days.

Before start to making it, you can appreciate the picture or understand the simple structure. The umbrella-sharped earrings are structured like an umbrella and the handle part is formed by several pearls strung together.

Now let's start making our own custom Tibetan umbrella pendant earrings.

The materials needed are also very simple:

Ear hooks

Eye Pins

Flat nose pliers

Tibetan style pendant

To make Tibetan umbrella pendant earrings:

1.Pick out an eye pin and string the glass pearl beads from top to bottom. Three beads are in a group. A small ring at the bottom of the Eye Pin prevented the beads from sliding. Continue to string a small bead cap above, the bead cap is in the shape of a flower, as if in full bloom, lifelike. 

2.On the top of the bead cap is another bead, like a stamen, wrapped in the middle of the petals. The opening end of the bead cap is upward. Bronze petal pendant and white pearls are perfectly integrated, with clear layers, reasonable color matching and good visual effect. 

3.The bead cap is like an umbrella's inner support. Next, the Tibetan style pendant is strung on the Eye Pin as an umbrella canopy. This pendant is relatively large and is the core part of the whole earring. The direction of the big pendant is opposite to the direction of the small bead cap below. The small bead cap are wrapped in it. 

4.The fourth step is to string a small pendant at the top of the big pendant like the inner layer. The direction of the pendant opens downward, as if it were covered by the big pendant. This part is the top of the umbrella earrings.

5.To string a white pearl bead on the top of the umbrella earrings to make it more exquisite, the bead's modification can make the earrings more layered. Then use scissors to cut off the excess Eye Pin at the top, and bend it into small rings with the help of flat nose pliers. The size of the rings is the same as that at the bottom. This ring is used to connect the ear hook to the main part.

6.Just connect the ear hook to the small ring at the top and string a colorful alloy end piece at the bottom, and the whole earring is finished. 

Two earrings were made in the same way. Within 30 minutes, the creative umbrella earrings were finished. 

It seems that every time I see such novel earrings, I can't help loving them. I really like earrings, not only wearing them, but also making and collecting them by myself.
